MEDICAL GASES

Medical gases are elements used in medical procedures and are therefore treated as medicines. Unlike gases used in industry, medical gases have a higher degree of purity. The manufacturing, distribution and use of these gases in most countries are regulated by government agencies. The most commonly used medical gases are: Medicinal Oxygen: used in the administration of medicines and in the treatment of cardiorespiratory diseases, among other applications. Synthetic air: used as a vehicle for medicines administered by inhalation, among other applications. Nitrous oxide: generally used as an anesthetic and analgesic. MAC offers a complete range of cylinders for storing these gases in places such as ambulances, clinics, home care, hospitals and any other process that might require lighter, easy-to-use equipment.
